Last week I got tip for good motorcycling route from one of my friend Toni. He had been driving somewhere from Lohja to Nummi-Pusula. From his advice I got idea for following trip, which I drove last weekend.
I started from Helsinki and drove from road 51 to 1130. I have been driving road 1130 earlier and knew that it was really nice road. Then I went through 116 to road 1090 and 1253. I think those were best roads, which I drove at the weekend. There was really nice countryside and not too much settlement and traffic. Road had lot of nice curves and small hills. On that road you can really get feeling of freedom while riding ;) I was actually little bit disappointed when it ended too shortly.
Roads 127 and 126 were quite boring after that nice sprint on roads 1090 and 1253. After Karkkila there is road 133 that is really fast road and I like to drive on it (if there isn’t too much traffic). There are many curves but they all are gentle curves. Road 132 and from Klaukkala to Espoo there isn’t anything special. I have seen those roads too many times.
For conclusion I can recommend this route for every motorcycle rider on Southern Finland. Especially roads 1090 and 1253 are good motorcycling roads.
